Self is not constricted by birth, death, or time.
This blog on awareness of the eternal self is not necessarily meant to be read, but a personal writing many, many years ago. Yes I was writing to myself... lol.
You have existed for an incalculable amount of time. Your DNA existed within your ancestors, and within their ancestors, and in your children. Shall you continue to live after you die? Are your children not a part of you? Are you not a part of your ancestors? Thus, you have been in existence since time began, an eternal flux of energy riding on an invisible web through the umbilical cord of time.
Awareness of the Eternal Self is at the very core of spirituality. It is the ultimate Truth. Because self exists in all times, and in all realms, it has a timeless and dimensionless awareness.
The universe, as a whole, is alive with imminent presence. Rocks, water, thoughts, hills, dreams, sound, light, and the wind~ everything is alive.
The awareness or wisdom that each of us brings into existence is not just individual: it is Collective. The individual perception in which the soul creates is Self.
Notice how the Self is aware of its bodily experience, getting it’s' information from sensory organs. There is always a perceiver, but it's never possible to perceive the perceiver. What will the Self perceive beyond the body?
We know from quantum physics that things such as sound and light make a lasting impression on the cosmos.
The self is fully aware of its' eternal and majestic being, while consciousness prevails in our bodies.
Trees, rocks, and springs possess an inner presence also. That which defines them, their energy.
Can it be said that "the One" really has a mind at all? To have a mind~ this means to be able to learn, retain knowledge, make judgments based on the knowledge within, and to have a mental reaction to one's surroundings. These things are all relative and partial to one's environment. The very thought of having a mind~ of reacting to one's surroundings~ is contradictory to the term "God". A being which thinks and learns is not all-knowing. In fact, the term "all-knowing" is a contradiction in and of itself, for to know of something one must learn about this something, and learning is in fact not "all-knowing".
As long as one feels and needs, one falls short of the final union. The very need of "the One" to create disqualifies "the One" for omnipotence. So, the One, as a being within the universe, can only manipulate certain aspects within the universe. Individual existence is identical to the very act of non~omnipotence. Creating laws within the universe requires thought; for to make laws one must first think of them, at least have an idea of what he/she would like~ or what is suitable to him/her, thus again falling short of omnipotence.
