Celtic Friends Newsletter February 2009
This is our first monthly newsletter! Each month we will inform Celtic Friends members, and our
readers, of the activities on the Network over the past month. (Yes, it’s already been a whole month
folks!) We hope each issue is helpful and informative for each one of you. Welcome to the Celtic
Friends Network!
This month our membership has grown to some 70 members and continues to increase on a daily basis.
We can attribute this to the fact that among our membership we have attracted well known artists,
musicians, writers and craftsmen.

Featured Members of the Month
Every issue will feature members of our network who have contributed, in some way, to the Celtic
community. This month our featured members are:
Courtney Davis - a well-known and widely published Celtic artist. His artistic work covers an
impressively broad range and he has a deep affinity for the rich symbolism of the Celtic Pagan
and Christian artistic traditions,
Jen Delyth - is a Welsh artist, illustrator and designer. She also writes about topics such as
Celtic art, symbol and myth.
Marc Gunn - is an accomplished professional performer, songwriter, and producer who brings a
powerful and expressive voice to Celtic music. Gunn has 12 solo albums to his credit to date.
Cherrie Ann Button - is a Celtic inspired artist working on developing her own style and
networking with like minded souls, while getting her artwork known. .
Mike Domeck - has his own site on Celtic Culture and has done a lot of research on his own
family ancestry. He has found that, like most Americans, his family tree has a diverse
background including Irish, Scottish, German, Greek and English.
Rick Campbell - In 2006 he started his own company focusing on web & database development
for small business. He splits his time between this and his twin loves of Celtic art and music
composition.
These members have, in their own individual way, sparked interest with their works, brought us
together as a culture and have left a mark that will likely be recorded in history. If you would like to be
featured in upcoming months there is more information about this under the More tab, Get featured .

business. This is a private group. Our group requires that our network badge is placed on the home page, or links/resources page of your site, before membership will be granted.
The network badge can be found on the right-hand side of any page on this site. It is usually toward the
bottom of the page. Simply click on the "get more badges" link and it will take you to a page where you
can get the code as well as customize it to fit the theme of your site. If you have any questions please
feel free to contact us.
Celtic Symbol Meanings
This group holds the most members and has the most activity. It's a great idea for a group and we can
see how it could grow quickly. Symbol meanings of the Celts are a great topic and well worth looking
into.
Thank You!
This Network seems to be an overwhelming success. Thank You for all of your kind words and
